Follow CTC Through the Installation Process for a Full Bus Wrap
Step 1: Thoroughly clean the bus and remove any existing graphics and the rear view mirrors.
Step 4: The vinyl comes in 2 types, solid which is used for the majority of the wrap, and perforated which is used for the windows.
Step 7: Once the window vinyl is applied the whole image begins to take shape.
Step 2: Prepare the vinyl which has the advertising printed on it. A full bus wrap typically takes at least 20 rolls of vinyl.
Step 5: Every solid surface gets vinyl applied to it, once all the solid vinyl has been applied, installation on the windows can begin.
Step 8: Take the bus outside and check for any imperfections, it takes about 10 hours to fully wrap a bus.
Step 3: CTC's 3M certified installer’s setup scaffolding so they can begin. The first piece is used to line up the rest of the pieces.
Step 6: The perforated window vinyl goes on last. The window vinyl still allows passengers to see out while still displaying the image.
The sky is the limit, as you can see a bus wrap makes a BIG impact!
