Batavia, Ohio. “I am honored to have been selected for this award,” said Clermont Transportation Connection (CTC) Director Ben Capelle, after learning that he had been selected as First Transit’s “Rookie of the Year.” First Transit is a public transportation and management company that manages and operates bus systems, including CTC, in 45 states, Canada, and Puerto Rico.
“Every year First Transit senior managers selects a junior manager that demonstrates exceptional qualities when it comes to safety issues and adheres to our philosophy that the customer comes first,” said First Transit’s Rick Dunning. “Ben Capelle exemplifies all of those qualities and is a great guy to work with too!”
Capelle has been the CTC director since September of 2006 and
previously worked at First Transit’s Headquarters in downtown Cincinnati.
CTC is the primary provider of public transportation in Clermont County. Founded in 1977 as CART (Clermont Area Rural Transit), the bus service has steadily evolved and now offers two fixed routes, in addition to the Dial-a-Ride service. To schedule a ride on CTC, call (513) 732-7433.
